We’ve been told to avoid quiet songs. We might still sing a few, but we don’t mind if you’re too busy bowling!
Music. Bowling. Food. Black Friday. Okay, we don’t have anything to do with Black Friday – though we might have merch to sell (we’ll mark it up to outrageous prices and then Slash them so the Savings Go To You!) Two sets, 9:30 and 11 – let your work balance decide!

We’re forgoing our frocks and dressing like we did in the previous century – come to 700 Osborne and support an amazing cause!

Not as violent as the title suggests; no wrestling or boxing or a cappella offs… at least, none planned… come see us and The Lockdown celebrate the beginning of September and maybe make an announcement or two!

Or at least Christmas for us – one of our favourite festivals, The Moose N’ Fiddle, happens this weekend! Beautiful vistas with beautiful people. We’ll be hosting the Kitchen Party On Saturday with the wonderful duo Two Crows For Comfort and the wonderful trio The Pairs – it promises to be a good fun time!

Sending out Breaking Legs to Claire Thérèse & The Lockdown, who are taking the stage tonight, 7:45PM, at the Harvest Sun Music Fest! You can also catch Claire Saturday morning in the Moody Manitoba Tribute Workshop – what’s that about? I have some guesses!
Information about the festival here!

Last seen as a Wandering Minstrel, you can catch cajon wizard Laura playing with this bevy of talent on August 9!

The Festivals never stop in the summer, and our amazing percussionist, Alissa, is writing and directing a show! She says, “The piece is a work in process; part love letter and part call to action. It is absurd but based in truth. Are we truly in this together? Are teachers an endangered species? A transformation is taking place, but what will emerge? I hope to take feedback from this run and use it to further develop the script.”
First show is tomorrow at 9:15PM – you can buy tickets HERE!

Thank you to @dougdarling for capturing this photo of us performing after midnight under the water tower – Final Show is 6:30PM at the Back Stage Tavern!
